Winter Edition iPad App

December 14th, 2012

Over the last few years I’ve been fortunate to work on iPad editions for Oprah,
Martha Stewart Weddings
, and more recently Architectural Digest.
But nothing can compare to being able to design the app for my own book, Craft-a-Day.

I got the green light to start designing it around Thanksgiving and from then on
my laptop and iPad never left my side. In addition to freelancing for Architectural Digest during the day,
I spent my nights, early mornings, and weekends cranking out what I thought was an inventive way
to bring a craft book to the iPad. I had amazing help and advice from my friends and the Quirk Books team
and couldn’t have finished it without them. The result is something I hope you will enjoy.

In the Winter Edition app, you’ll find basic supplies you can purchase with a click.

Animated openers to introduce each week.

Printable patterns.

Clickable tips.

And 5 ways to share your crafts online.

The iPad app can be purchased here and I’d love to know what you think
by submitting a review in the store, emailing me, or commmenting on my facebook wall.
Thank you and happy crafting!
