Over the weekend some friends and I attended an event at the New York Public Library at the 42nd Street location. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that the last time I was in the library was for a Design by the Book event three years ago! Now that I’m living back in New York, I definitely need to take more advantage of this place. It’s awesome.
The guests were staffers from Martha Stewart Living who generously donated a plethora of paper, scissors, glitter glue pens and punches to the library. There was a slide show for inspiration as well as a preview of the February issue on the ipad. Yes, it is possible for those gorgeous photos + videos to look even more amazing.
I went to town and made more valentines for Etsy’s Special Delivery and I think it’s safe to say I am now addicted to Martha’s punches. There are punches to create borders AROUND the page as well as punches that can be punched ALL OVER the page (it fits together with a strong magnet). So smart.
Be sure to check out the February issue and read about hosting your own crafternoon!
