I think someone still needs to pinch me! Last week I received an advance copy of my book, Craft-a-day (Quirk Books) that comes out in October. Um, hello, dream come true, nice to meet you.
What started as an idea from my editor, Margaret McGuire, ballooned into months of me designing templates, crafting, and photographing like crazy. Thank goodness, the talented Katie Hatz was able to design it and turn it into this masterpiece. It’s over 430 pages of fun, simple crafts broken down into weekly themes with traceable patterns.
I owe so much to my sister, Anne, for helping me out with some of the crafts, Wendy for humoring me and letting me use her as a model, Kelsey, Lindsy, Lexi, Suzanne, Kristin and Ben for their feedback, Hans for some of his imaging work, and all the Quirk Books peeps whom I owe more than a million thanks.
